The aim of the eIRB is to streamline the IRB application process and to provide fast and efficient communication and tracking information for investigators, research personnel and IRB administrators.
The eIRB allows you to submit new study applications, study modifications, continuing reviews and reportable new information electronically. You can also submit an IRB Inquiry form as part of a new application if you are uncertain about whether IRB review is necessary for a new project. Results of IRB reviews and any communication surrounding the IRB review process are also handled by this system.
How will I access the eIRB?
Individuals who had an account in the old eIRB system received an email from Andrea Seykora on February 12 with their IRBNet login information and instructions.
If you did not receive this email, you likely already have an account with IRBNet through your work with other regions or institutions. Log in and your KPNW studies should now appear under "My Projects." If you forgot your login information, click the "Forgot your Password?" link on the IRBNet home page or contact KFRI at (833) 265-4779 or 8-428-3803 (tie-line) or via email at eIRBsupport@kp.org.

I need to find something in the old eIRB.
The old eIRB system is still available to CHR staff for accessing historical information. Do not submit anything new in this system. It will not be reviewed. Non-CHR staff should contact the IRB at NW-IRB@kpchr.org if they need something from the old system.
