Biography:
As a young artist, Virginia Saward
painted portraits in oil and was
accomplished in watercolor. In the
Northwest, she continued portraiture, as
well as landscape and non-representational
painting. Virginia Saward was collector and
curator of the Kaiser Foundation art
collection that now bears her name.
